I keep a wish list at amazon.co.uk because I find it a really convenient way to remember what I'm looking for and to gather all the great titles I spot whilst bouncing around the site.

I keep asking my family to use it at Christmas and birthday times and I've told them I'm more than happy for second hand copies from the market place but up to now, nobody seems willing to act on it which is a shame.

I'm too mean to pay full price and I'm also often looking for obscure foreign novels that aren't in stock so I watch the Marketplace prices and swoop when a good price comes up or when something out of circulation comes along.
